The boys played tough this weekend. Three games in near 100 degree temps shows some fortitude!

Here's the results:
Game 1: Loss to RileyA, 18-17 (7 innings)
Game 2: Win overTerre Haute Havoc, 6-4

Elimination Round:
Game 1: Win over RileyB, 9-5
Game 2: Loss to Linton, 11-10

Smithville Tournie Schedule

Here's the pdf of the schedule for this weekends tournament in Smithville.

It looks like we play Friday night at 6pm, Saturday at 2pm and 5:30pm, and Sunday at 10am. The rest of Sunday will be dependent on winning (additional games would be at 2pm & 3:30pm)!

It looks like mid 80s to lower 90s this weekend - so bring lots of cold water.

Yesterday was long, hot, but awesome. We were incredibly proud of how our boys played ball and carried themselves out there. Here's a few shots from the games - I think everyone is in here once or twice. If not, I apologize and will do better next time!!!

Our Record...

If I'm right, and I almost always am, Team Dynamite has 14 wins against 10 losses, which puts our winning percentage at .583.

If we were a major league team, we'd be in first place in the AL Central or the NL Central. Only the Dodgers and Rangers have been winning percentages.

Brownstown Spring Tournament

Coming off a good showing last night in Unionville, Team Dynamite is looking forward to its next tournament in Brownstown, April 14th & 15th. We're guaranteed four games that weekend, so pack the cooler full!

Results from Leapin Leprechaun Tournie

It was an awesome tournament for Team Dynamite. It was great to see all the hard work of the past couple of months, both on the part of the coaches and players, pay off. It also gave the coaches a good sense of what we can work on to improve. But, I think all agree making it to the championship game in our first tournament together is pretty outstanding.

March Madness: Baseball!!!

We're all registered for the March Madness tournament in Lafayette, IN, March 3rd & 4th!

Parents Meeting

The coaches want to have a quick parents meeting at 11am this Saturday (2/11/12) to nail down details regarding the upcoming tournament. We'll also be looking at and fitting uniforms.
